In My Mailbox (4)

Hello, this is my fourth week being involved with In My Mailbox, a weekly blogging meme hosted by The Story Siren. The point is to share the books you have acquired over the week. This week I actually went to the library and the bookstore. SO A GREAT HAUL!

First off to those who follow my blog regularly, you'll have seen a ton of these books popping up in posts this week.

Books I bought: (Groceries or books? Not even a question. I have soup and pasta still.)

First book I bought:
Yep, I finally bought Matched and have featured it in almost every single blogging meme this week (Teaser Tuesday, WWW Wednesday).

I'm super excited about this novel. I've blogged about it so many times and featured it in som many posts and now I finally get to read it. Yay!

Also, it has a really pretty cover. I love it!

Second book I bought:Sweethearts by Sara Zarr.
Hello, it's Sara Zarr. I've read two of her other novels in the last two months and absolutely adored them. I'm really looking forward to this novel. Sara Zarr is probably one of my favorite authors that I've discovered this year. And like Ally Condie she's from Utah...so am I.

Sara Zarr's sytle is addicting and infectious. Super excited about this one. Plus, there's a cookie on the cover. What's not to love?

And third book I bought: Wings by Aprilynne Pike. I've heard so much about this book. I've had this book recommended to me by countless people and I found the idea appealing.

It's another cover that I love. I'm really excited about reading this one as well.

Aprilynne Pike is really popular and people seem to love her series, so here we go.

And now for the library books:

First book is Wake by Lisa McMann.

This has been on my to-read list for forever. I was intrigued by the idea of this novel. I have heard great things about it and have been excited to read it.  I decided to bump this up to the top of my list, because a reader commented on my facebook page that he wanted to know what I thought of this book. As always if you want to know what I think about a specific novel, just let me know. I value your comments and take them seriously.
This cover is also intriguing and I'm really excited to finally read this. Thanks for the prod Mark.

Second book I got is When it Happens by Susane Colsanti. This is a book that I've had my eye on for a long time. I've seen this book in bookstores, but was always hesitant to buy it. I usually don't like to buy unless I know I like it or else it has come strongly recommended. This book fit the second category, I just never got around to buying it.  This book is another one that I'm glad I finally tracked down.

A book a friend lend to me: Faro's Daughter by Georgette Heyer. This novel has also popped up on the memes this week. This book is one that I've been reading the last few days. I''m almost done with this one. It's pretty funny, actually no it's pretty hilarious. Out of curiousity, would you be interested in me posting my review of this novel even though it's not YA?
And that was basically my In My Mailbox this week. As always feel free to leave your link to your IMM post in the comments section. Also have you guys read any of these novels? What are your thoughts?

That's all for now.

Love,
Danica Page

And thanks for checking out my IMM post.
