My Overall Thoughts/ Impressions: I started this book late in the night and told myself I would only read thirty pages and then I would go to bed. Thirty turned into eighty, which turned into 150, and then I just decided I was going to finish the book, because I absolutely adored the book.
The plot was masterfully crafted, the writing intriguing, and the characters were lovable and realistic. While there were a few (stress the word few, as in one or two) technical issues with the novel, I barely even noticed because I was so enraptured by the tale.
This was a book that I didn’t go in with high expectations. I expected it to be good, but I didn’t expect to be blown away by the story. I can’t wait to read the sequel in this story. The ending was the perfect blend—it left you feeling satisfied, but left you desperately wanting more.
I will definitely be keeping my eye on this author and on this series. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the sequel. Definitely recommended.
In Summary: A novel that I absolutely loved. Great characters, plot, and writing, a book that is definitely worth checking out.
Warnings/Side-notes: I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anybody of any age. It is a cute tale that didn’t offend me in the slightest.
The Wrap-up: I’m so glad that Alexandra Lanc gave me the opportunity to review this book. A great read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely worth reading!
