Waiting on Wednesday (8) and W.W.W. Wednesday (7)

Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly post by Jill at Breaking the Spine to spotlight upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week is my eighth time involved in this meme. And this week I've chosen Still Waters by Emma Carlson Berne. This is another novel that I'm really excited to read. To be redundant, I have really really high hopes for this one. I've heard great things about it, and hope it lives up to the hype.

And here's the synopsis from Goodreads:
Hannah can't wait to sneak off for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, Colin. He’s leaving for college soon, and Hannah wants their trip to the lake house to be one they’ll never forget.

But once Hannah and Colin get there, things start to seem a They can't find the town on any map. The house they are staying in looks as if someone's
been living there, even though it's been deserted for years.

And Colin doesn’t seem quite himself. As he grows more unstable, Hannah worries about Colin’s dark side, and her own safety.

Nothing is as perfect as it seems, and what lies beneath may haunt her forever.

This sounds really intense. I've been wanting to read this one for months, so I'm really excited that the release date is only 6 days away! I can hopefully make it that long.

What book are you guys anxiously awaiting for? Anybody else dying for this book to come out? As always feel free to leave your Waiting on Wednesday link below.

And now here's my W.W.W. Wednesday post. This meme is hosted by MizB of Should be Reading.

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

I'm finally reading Betrayals in the Strange Angels series by Lily St. Crow. I read the first one in this series forever ago, and finally got to start reading the sequel. Thankfully, after reading the first few pages, I remembered what happened in the first book. Interesting so far, but I haven't made that much progress yet.

What did I recently finish reading?

I currently finished rereading Danger in the Shadows and the Negotiator by Dee Henderson. After rereading Irene Hannon's novels it seemed like the logical decision. I'm forcing myself to finish at least a few new books, before continuing to read the rest in the series. Yes, I know I have an addiction to these novels. I've read them at least ten times, but they are so good. Romantic  Christian suspense, what's not to love? If you know me, you know this is my guilty pleasure in life. So glad these novels exist.

What do I think I'll read next?

Hopefully the Tempest by Julie Cross. I should be getting it in the mail any day now. I love love love the premise of this novel. It looks really good and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm getting as part of the DAC tours that are set up by Kirsti from The Story Siren through Tara and Lisa. I've been wanting to read this one for months and I'm the first on the blog tour. I'm really psyched about this one.

What are you currently reading? Please feel free to leave your link in the comments.
