Blog Tour/Book Review/Giveaway: Cromwell Deep by Kari Peterson

Hello Readers,

Today I'm pleased to be part of the Reading Addiction Blog Tour for the novel Cromwell Deep by Kari Peterson. For my stop, I will be including my review and offering a copy of this novel to one lucky winner.

Before I get into the review, here's some information about the author:

Kari Peterson was born in November of 1979.  She graduated from Columbia Basin College with a degree in Computer Science, then transferred to WSU where her next degree awaits her.  She currently lives in Washington State with her husband, three sons, one male cat, one male guinea pig, and two fish... whom she is certain are male as well.

Kari Pterson can be reached at her website.

And now for my review, but first here's the synopsis:

Kaitlynn O’Conner was the elusive woman of many a man’s dreams.  Lucky for forensics guy Nate Morby, he was the man of her dreams too.  When he arrives at her house and finds evidence that she’s been kidnapped, he believes there is a connection to a case he is currently working on.  The most gruesome case he’s had to deal with in years.  Time is of the essence as Kaitlynn fights for her life, and Nate fights to find her.

And now for my review:

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel for review as part of the Reading Addiction Blog Tour Team. For more information check out the disclaimer at the end of this post.

My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: If you follow my blog, then you know that I'm in love with romantic suspense and so I had high hopes for this novel. I knew that I would love the genre of this novel; however, I didn't know much else about this novel going into it.

The second I started reading this novel I fell in love with the characters Kaitlynn and Nate. Kaitlynn was a great protagonist that I loved reading about. She was kind, hard-working, and yet she had some spunk to her and was quite the outdoorsy girl. I loved watching Nate and Kaitlynn interact. Their romance was one that developed quickly; however, it didn't bother me.

Their relationship seemed so natural. I loved the suspense of the novel. Peterson nicely built up to the conclusion that left me thoroughly satisfied. Peterson's writing drew me into the story from the beginning until the very end. There were a few moments where errors in the story caught my attention. However, on the whole her novel left me thoroughly entertained. I definitely recommend this one to fans of romantic suspense.

In Summary: A novel that I absolutely adored. Enough romance and suspense to keep me reading late into the night.

Warnings/Side-notes: Strong sexual undertones and a vague sexual assault scene. You know what happened, but it doesn't go into details.

The Wrap-up: I loved the way Peterson presented her novel and her characters were lovable. Like I mentioned, there were some errors in the story; however, I still loved the story. Definitely one I'd recommend reading.

And now for your chance to win a copy of this great book!

Love,
