And that's all for me. What was your top ten? What great books have you read this year? Please feel free to leave your link in the comments. I love reading them. :)
Happy New Years, everybody! :)
Love,
Danica Page

Great list! I can't wait to read Enders! Most of the rest of your list are series that I want to start reading this year, lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
I know that one looks so good.
DeleteI'm glad to hear we have similar taste. Thanks for commenting and Happy New Years.
I don't read a lot of YA but I would like to read the second Partials book as well - I enjoyed the first one. Thanks for visiting my list :)
ReplyDeleteFragments does look good. Yes, I do love YA. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'm a new Top Ten Tuesday participant. I don't read YA books but it looks like you have some interesting stories there. Happy reading in 2013.
ReplyDeletehttp://freshinkbooks.blogspot.ca/2012/12/top-ten-tuesday-jan-2013.html
Congrats on being a new TTT participant. Yes, I do like YA. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteI am also following you Danica, thanks again and great list Danica!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me. That just made my day.
DeleteI was just looking at Submerged on Amazon the other day. It looked really good. Great list Danica, you have a good mix of books. I hope you read all of them. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard really good things bout Shattered and yes Submerged is incredible.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Unbreakable is at the top of my list. I am really looking forward to that one a lot. And I have some classic titles on my list as well, because I sort of feel that I'm just really under-read when it comes to them.
ReplyDeleteYou can see my TTT post here! :)
I'm an English major and so I love them. Jane Eyre and Austen are great places to start.
DeleteI loved your picks. Thanks for stopping by.
Love that you have two lists here, bonus points for you.
ReplyDeleteI am seeing a lot of Under the Never Sky on people's lists, I will have to check it out.
I really want to read Unraveling, it sounds really interesting, I'm glad to see you liked it enough to be going back for the second. Lots of good ideas on here!
Thanks I love both YA/Adult, so I had to put both on the list. Thanks.
DeleteUnder the Never Sky is really good. Definitely check it out.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enders & Requiem I am dying to read! Looking forward to Fragments once I read Partials! Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks I'm glad you liked it. Yes both of those look incredible.
DeleteOooooh I'm looking forward to 'Through the Ever Night' and 'Requiem'. I saw the 'Fragments' book the other day and thought it sounded like something I might like so I guess I'd better read the first one.
ReplyDeleteThrough the Ever Night is good so far. Requiem looks amazing.
DeleteAnd yes, definitely read Partials if you like the look of Fragments. :)
Hey! Thanks for stopping by my TTT! I also can't wait to read Requeim!
ReplyDeleteGreat list :)
You are most welcome! And yep Requiem looks fantastic!
DeleteMy list seems rather lightweight in comparison to yours! Good luck with your classics.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope I enjoy them. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteI love how you divided up your list! You have so many great YA sequels listed, and I'm eager to see what tomorrow's list holds!
ReplyDeleteI really, really love Tess d'Urbervilles. It's very sad, but if you watch and like Downton Abbey, it goes into the whole conflict between old blood and new money. Masterpiece did a decent version of Tess starring Gemma Arterton.
I'll be back tomorrow for your other YA top ten list! And I followed you back :)
Lauren @ Hughes Reviews
Thanks I'm glad you are excited to see what my list holds.
DeleteI' glad you love Tess d'Ubervilles. I haven't see Downton Abbey, but I've heard really good things about it.
Thanks for the follow.
Great list, I see some from my own list. Nice picks. Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
My TTT
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading to you too.
DeleteLove the way you doubled your list. The Count of Monte Christo is on my Classics Club list and I may get to it this year. It'll be a reread but it's been, dare I say, decades since I encountered the count?
ReplyDeleteHere's my I resolve to read list for 2013. Happy New Year and Happy Reading!
Thanks I'm glad you liked my list. I'm really excited for the Count. I've seen the movie and loved it, but I hear the book is really different, much more tragic.
DeleteAnyway, can't wait to get to it soon. Thanks for commenting.
Excellent list. Most of your series books are ones I'm looking forward to as well, especially Requiem and Dare You To. Both are going to be immediate reads when they're released.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Same, I can't wait for them to come out either.
Deleteohmygosh what an awesome list! I LOVE the cover of Enders and you have several books on your list which I hope to also read! I can't wait to read your thoughts on them! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOh, and PS, I'm a new follower ;)
DeleteThanks for the follow that made my day. Happy New Year to you too!
DeleteThrough the Ever Night is on my list too, and Requiem is on my unofficial list. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite books, so I hope you enjoy! It's been a really long time since I read it(probably in need of a re-read), but it was one of those books I stayed up late finishing.
ReplyDeleteIt just sounds so incredible. Requiem should be fantastic.
DeleteAnd yes I'm definitely excited for The Count of Monte Cristo.
Thanks for sharing!
What a great list! I might have to add some of them to my never-ending TBR pile... but others are already on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for stopping by my TTT post earlier.
Happy 2013, and happy reading :)
PS: I'm an English major as well... after you read Middlemarch, you should also check out Adam Bede ;)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked my list.
DeleteI will definitely check out Adam Bede. Thanks.
Vortex and Goddess Inheritance are both SO great! I have a lot of your other books on my list to read this year as well :)
ReplyDeleteYou've already read them. I'm so jealous. I can't wait to get to them.
DeleteThanks for commenting.
That´s a good way of dividing it up. Happy reading and happy new year! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked how I divided it. Happy reading to you too.
DeleteAwesome, ambitious list! Good idea to split it up into YA/adult. I'm glad to see Coincidence #2 on your list, I still need to read the first one. Requiem and Enders are two I can't wait to read too...not too much longer now! Good luck with all your reading goals and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteThanks you. Definitely read the first one in the Coincidence series. It's incredible.
DeleteAnd yes Requiem and Enders should be incredible. Thanks for stopping by.
Great list! There are several books on here that I want to read, but I have to read their previous books first. Thanks for sharing and stopping by!
ReplyDeleteRachel @ Beauty and the Bookshelf
Thanks for stopping by. I know what you mean. So many people have great books, but I have to read the first ones first. I hate when I get behind in series, but then again it is nice because then you don't have to wait so long for the next one in the series to come out.
DeleteAll KINDS of great stuff on your list. Under the Never Sky didn't make today's post, but I'm still planning on getting to it reasonably soon. The Partials series is on my list as well. I'm planning on reading Moby Dick this year (probably starting next month) and I'd really love to tackle Alexander Dumas and War and Peace, though I don't make any promises on those counts. :D THanks so much for visiting my TTT. Happy New Year! :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks like we are reading many of the same books. Happy reading!
DeleteHappy New Years and happy reading!
Wow! That is a really ambitious list! I haven't read any of the YAs, but have read most of the 19th c. ones from your list. They can take a while.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The 19th century is fabulous. I can't wait to read more from it.
DeleteI've been wanting to read War and Peace for years! It's just so intimidating. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI have also wanted to read WaP for years, but haven't yet. This year is the year though.
DeleteAwesome list. So many books I've not read the first for but have on my TBR list. I hope you get the chance to read them all. Very cute blog. Had to become a stalker =D
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Happy Reading!
Thanks for becoming a stalker. That made my day.
DeleteI'm glad you liked my list and my blog.
I am beyond excited for TTEN and Requiem! Hope you love them! And oh my, I need to get Starters and the Goddess Test already. Thank you for stopping by and following, I'm following back! :)
ReplyDeleteJudith @ Paper Riot
I happened to know the right people. I can't wait to read it.
DeleteStarters is incredible. Thanks for the follow.
Awesome list! I need to read Vortex, The Goddess Inheritance, Requiem, Dare You To, Fragments, and Unbreakable too! It's gonna be a very busy 2013, don't you think? (:
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TTT & if you have time, check out my Most Anticipated 2013 Book Giveaway! :D

Thanks for the follow.
Ooh I can't wait for Enders! I have Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue on my shelf just waiting to be read- I definitely need to get to those soon.

You are most welcome. Definitely read Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue soon.

I love Dan Wells, I need to start this trilogy. I also want to try AlisonB.
ReplyDeleteIt's good so far. Allison is intriguing. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat list! I'm definitely excited for Requiem and Unbreakable!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are excited for those two as well. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteVery impressive list. Good luck with your resolutions.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Good luck with your resolutions as well.
DeleteI read Northanger Abbey this summer. It's different from Jane Austen's other works - more Gothic - but I still liked it. You can find more of my thoughts at Matched: Reviews and Recommendations. I read Tess for the first time as a senior in high school and couldn't even finish it, but then I re-read it in graduate school and loved it. It's the ultimate coming of age novel and has a little bit of everything plot and emotion wise. Great blog, and Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteP. S. New follower!
I know it's very different, which is why I haven't read it yet.
DeleteI'm glad you like my blog. Thanks for follow. I followed back.
Fantastic list. It can get tricky to keep up with series. I've only read the 1st book in the Ruby Red series and haven't gotten to any of those other series. Good luck and Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteSapphire Blue is incredible.Definitely read it.
DeleteAnd yes, keeping up with series can be so difficult.
Thanks for stopping by.
Love your list! Vortex, Dare You To! Emerald Green is amazing! I read it in Dutch a year ago!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013!
Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks! I'm glad you read my list. I'm so jealous that you got to read Emerald Green in Dutch. I wish I knew Dutch so I could read it. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
I love that you broke down your list by YA and adult! Northanger Abbey isn't my favorite Jane Austen novel, but I did like it, and I really need to read some of the classics you mentioned. I hope you get to read everything you want, and have a happy new year!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm glad you liked how I broke down my list.
DeleteThanks! Have a great year as well.
Great list! I need to read the first book in so many of the series you listed! And I can't wait for Requiem to come out!

Northanger Abbey is the funnest Jane Austen book, I think. I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI still need to read Mansfield Park, its the one Austen I have left.
Happy New Year!
Lovely list. Lots of sequels on here. One book that didn't quite make my list but I still want to read in 2013 is UNDER THE NEVER SKY. And I want to get to NORTHANGER ABBEY and possibly MOBY DICK this year too.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I heard great things about The Goddess Test and Ruby Red. I may have to add them to my TBR list this year. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Requiem and Dare You To! I need to get started with the Partials series because I've heard it's amazing. Great list and thanks for stopping by! :)
ReplyDeleteI just found out the other day that Callie and Kayden was going to have a sequel. I'm slow, I know. When book 1 ended, I was like, wait... what?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by our TTT and Happy New Year! :)
Awesome list! I can't wait for Dare You To also and i'm actually just getting ready to dive into the Ruby Red series so can't wait to see what that is all about.
ReplyDeleteGreat List! I want to read every book on your YA list! Hope you get to read them this year! :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh when I think about having to wait for some of these books to come out it makes me so upset. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised by how quickly I got into Northanger Abbey -- I didn't want to put the book down! -- and I hope you enjoy it as well!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Enders and Fragments are 2 books that I can't wait to read!! Book 1 of each series was SO GOOD! I loved them! Great picks! Happy reading. Thank you for stopping by today.
ReplyDeleteTop 10 @Libby Blog
You do have a lot of series continuations down! I need to add the sequel to Partials to my list as well! I do have Requiem and The Goddess Inheritance down.
ReplyDeleteI tried to avoid 2013 releases since I know I'll most likely grab those before earlier/older books. However, you have renewed my excitement in a few series. Definitely looking forward to Vortex and Requiem. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Top Ten.
Good idea making more than one list! You have tons of great books to read. Enjoy them all and happy new year :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Unbreakable! Unraveling really exceeded my expectations so I'm really looking forward to seeing where the series goes. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog & following. I followed back. =)

Jennifer - Books that Spark
Great list! War and Peace and The Count of Monte Cristo are two of my favorite classics!
ReplyDeleteThrough the Ever Night! I am starting that very very soon too! I've heard great things and loved the first book. I hope you get a chance to read all of these! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post!
~Sara @ Forever 17 Books
My goodness! A lot of books here, most of the YA books are sequels and I'm so far behind in my reading :( I hope to get to some of these series this year.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by!
I'm reading Partials right now, and I have a feeling I'm going to feel the same as you about Fragments very soon ;)
ReplyDeleteSamantha @ Reading-AndCoffee
FRAGMENTS! Oh I'm so excited about that book. And Requiem - must know what happens!
ReplyDeleteGood luck and happy new year :)
What a great idea! I like that you separated adult from YA fiction. It was hard to limit myself to ten in general. You've got great lists there. I see you hope to tackle War and Peace this year. Me too! We can do it. :-) Enjoy your reading!
ReplyDeleteNew Follower!
ReplyDeleteFantastic YA list...I too am looking forward to several of these :D
Here's my Top Ten Tuesday post.
You've got a great list of continuing series that I want to read too. There are so many great books coming out this year!
ReplyDeleteI also see you put Tess of the D'ubervilles. Good luck with that one. I made the mistake of watching the PBS movie and was too traumatized afterward to want to read it. Probably better to read it first. Oh well, lol.
Thanks for stopping by Book Sojourner!
new follower :)
Awesome list! I hope you enjoy Anna Karenina and Northanger Abbey, I <3 both those books. I've been avoiding Tess of the D'Ubervilles only because I heard what it's about and I don't know if I can handle it. Maybe in a few years I just might get around to it ;) Good luck with the list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog last week ;)
