I've now been in Italy for two months and am loving it. I'm serving a humanitarian mission there and am loving it but that means I'm missing out on all the great books that are coming out.
So what were your favorite books of the month? What books do I absolutely need to read?
New Releases I actually read before I left:
In too Deep by Coert Voorhees-I didn't really know what to expect about this one. It was surprisingly good. Not my favorite novel ever, but it was interesting.
The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die by April Henry-April Henry has a way with suspense. This novel caught my attention immediately and yes it was intense.
The Time Between by Karen White-I just really loved the cover and synopsis and so I took a chance on it. I'm so glad I did. And yes, I do really really love this cover.
Other Books I read: Burning by Elana K. Arnold, Another Little Piece by Kate Quinn, The Registry by Shannon Stoker, and Born of Illusion by Terri Brown. I actually really liked all of these ones too.
New Releases I'm Dying to Read:
Intuition by CJ Omololu- I was able to review the first in the series and was pleasantly surprised by it. I'm dying to read this one when I get back. Did anybody read it. What did you think?
The Game-Changer by J. Sterling- I was surprised by how much I liked the first one in the series and am curious to see what happens in the sequel.
Stealing Harper by Molly McAdams- I have mixed feelings about this one. I've read her other two novels and they are frustrating and emotionally draining. Plus, I already know how this one ends and I don't know if I could handle that. But I'm curious so I'll probably read it when I get back.
Insomnia by J.R. Johansson-Okay this book just looked plain creepy. I mean look at the cover and yet I'm still dying to read it. It just looks so good.
Did any of you read any of these? Would you recommend reading them?
