My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Disclaimers: I received an ebook in exchange for my honest review.

An Overview of the novel: Hope and John lied when they said they were going to the prom. They eloped and got married. Only to have Hope panic right after the ceremony. The minister promised her that he wouldn't send in the certificate and that their marriage wasn't valid.

John had tried to talk to Hope afterwards, but she wouldn't let him. That was 10 years ago and now he's back in town. Hope is shocked to find that their marriage is still valid in the eyes of God and the law.

Hope's world is a mess and now she has to decide if she wants to stay married to him or end it in divorce.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: This novel was a cute lighthearted read. It lacked the depth in novels that I normally like to read, but it was definitely one that I'm glad I read.

The book left me smiling as this unlikely couple struggled to come to terms with how they really felt about each other. This is a book that romance readers will love.

The Christian elements are very subtle, but they are there. I enjoyed this novel. Like I said, a quick, cute read.

So why 3 stars? I enjoyed reading it, but I probably wouldn't reread it.

Warnings/Side-notes: None.

The Wrap-up: A good cute novel to read this winter season. The novel is not necessarily memorable, but a great cute read that will leave you smiling.

Love,

Danica Page
