Before I get into my review, here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

Born to a King of Chaos patch holder with a case of wanderlust and a self-centered mother, twenty-one-year-old Nevada Weber is used to taking care of herself. She's spent her life skating by on her wits and pure determination. When she lands in a situation, she can’t haggle her way out of, she’s forced to rely on another brother for help.

Club enforcer Gage “Wizard” Carmody has done his job too well over the years. Icy and numb on the inside, he walks around in a prison of his making. When the bright green-eyed girl he helped raise winds up unclaimed and in need of protection he steps in seeking redemption. In a life where destruction lurks around the corner, they discover something with the potential to bring healing and happiness.

But when you live in Chaos nothing goes as planned.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: What an interesting book! This book was nothing like I expected it to be, and yet it caught my attention from page one.

This book is a bout a motorcycle "gang" who engages in some illegal activities. That right there made for an interesting read. Can you like these people who engage in such activities?

Aside from that, the culture of "Kings of Chaos" made for even more interesting subject matter. Now, the extreme feminists are sure to have a hey-day with this novel in that regards. However, personally I wasn't too hung-up on those aspects.

I thought the novel was intriguing. I liked the characters and I liked the plot. There wasn't a slow moment in the book for me.

The arc I was reading from had some serious formatting issues; however, I'm sure that will be resolved by the time it's printed.

Major Strengths: Fast-paced writing and originality.

Major Weaknesses: Certain aspects of the novel I just didn't like.

So why 3 stars? I thought it was an enjoyable book, but it wasn't quite four stars.

Warnings/Side-notes: 17+ for language, sexual content, and violence.

The Wrap-up: I thought this was an intriguing read.

Love,

Danica Page
