Before I get into my review, here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

On the surface, Chelsea Greer has it all:
A loving husband.
A nice house.
A good job.

In reality, she works hard to maintain the illusion that is her life. She's also missing the most important thing:

Love.

One night could change her life. One night could give her the strength to rediscover what's important. In one night, she could find love when she most needs it and least expects it.

All Chelsea has to do is follow her heart after One Chance Night.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: I was really concerned this book was going to be about a girl cheating on her husband; thankfully, it wasn't. I always have a hard time with those books.

This book actually proved to be more intriguing and enjoyable than I thought it would be. It was well written and the characters were ones that I enjoyed reading about.

Boyd did a good job of creating a story that was fast paced and that never had a dull moment.

The novel was also fairly clean as far as content went, which I really appreciated.

Major Strengths: Well written and fast paced.

Major Weaknesses: Seemed too rushed at parts.

So why 3 stars? It was intriguing but it didn't quite stand out enough to be 4 stars.

Warnings/Side-notes: Fairly clean. 16 plus.

The Wrap-up: I enjoyed this one, but it didn't really have anything that particularly stood out to me.

Love,

Danica Page
